Rail Europe ticket is too expensive for us as in i have the budget for our trip. So i tried to check online, i know that most of them does offer a cheaper rail ticket especially when we are travelling in a group.
German rail : Bahn.de
I send them request regarding my trip thru website.
They gave me the offer and ask me for Credit Card detail once i confirm. Frankly, i don't feel safe by sending them all the card detail thru email. Maybe because that i am a gamer and i know how hacking do. I do feel safe with the company, it just that i am worried if their database being hacked.
I replied their email on my booking, but there isn't any reply from them. I guess that is kind of auto generated email or what.
I started to worry when December is coming soon. So, i'd again check their website, made my called to UK office. Unfortunately, i get teh replied that *The number you have dailed is not in service* I have no idea why. I have to call to Germany office.
I found that when called to Germany office and ask for rail service they will usually hold ur call and reply you, *All of our agents is currently busy, please try again later* and end the call.
I have no choice and to choose number 5, which is customer service, i guess. I am glad that finally i get someone to help and book my ticket ticket at last.
She is very kind and patient, we both took a long time to book the ticket due to English is not our first language and that is only way for us to communicate.
By requested, I receive my email confirmation from her and i found there was a mistake and she change it on the spot and resend the email for me while i was still on the line.
She told me that i will receive my ticket thru post. I considered that solved.
After 10days, i still havent receive my parcel of tickets, I called up to German railway again. This is when i had my real hard time. I been called up more than 20 calls yet still nobody are able to speak English with me.
Part that i was really piss is, they dun even bother to explain, or get back to me. They just said that they will transfer my calls to the person in charge and again i heard * All of ur agents is currently busy, please try again later. * You know...
I started to get anxious. I keep on calling and call again, I'd learned the lesson that, don't expect somebody pick up ur call or on hold the lines if you choose 1 for rail service. They will just directly pass you the msg that i mentioned and end your call. I been calling for more than 24hours, and i wasn't know that they are actually operating 24/7. I was even sacrified my sleeping time to wait for office hour in Germany to make call to them. But still, there's nobodies are able to speaking English with me.
I keep try to tell them how anxious i am to the customer service. Requested them to maybe pass to some 1 who might know a little english, to check my ticket status for me. I finally found 1 at last. He told me to calm down and wait for my tickets, unless it still not yet delivered until i am leaving to Germany.
Another week, there's still no parcel of tickets. I ran to all the post offices nearby and ask if there is any parcel under my name or my house address. They told me that i must have a consignment number to retrieve it, or else i wont able to trace any parcel.
Yet i have to call to the Bahn.de again. And again, there's nobodies are able to speak with me, i was like a ball being kick here and there. But this time i'm luckier, after a few calls, i get myself to the right person. ( I was actually keep on begging them to not to end my call directly, i just need their ref number for my parcel. I was really worried due to I am departing from Malaysia real soon.)
At last, my manage to get someone pick up the call, she don't really able to speak English, and ask me call back later. I said, NO... PLEASE DON'T... I CALLED FOR TIMES BUT EVERYTIME THEY CLOSE MY LINE....SO HARD FOR ME TO GET TO SOMEONE TO IS ABLE TO SPEAK A LIL BIT...
She requested for my phone number and promised me that she will get someone who speak English to call me back later. After 10mins, i received a call from Germany, a guy talked to me, i tell him my problems and he asked me for my fax number to fax me the Travel Documents that which will allow me to use for travel.
I cried a few times due to this.. But no idea... this is almost 50~70% cheaper compare to buy from raileurope.
Funny right?
Sweden rail : sj.se
This rail company, doesn't offer group booking, but their fare is quite cheap tho. I booked my ticket from Stockholm to Oslo from this company.
I was tried to book when i was in SG, but failed that day. I have no idea why, like credit card error or what..
After a week when i was in MY, i tried again. =) booked and printed everything online.
Senior citizen fares from this company is a last min offer. So you wont able to buy it in advance.

Europe 2010
Never completed my last year journal, and i think that is uneasy for me to complete too. I am here to post my this year Europe Trip again. LOL...
I never predict that so fast, i am going to Europe again. That was my dream, and it took so hard for me to achive previously. This year i am going with my families again. This is actually due to i keep telling my parents that how great was my trip in Eastern Europe last year that makes them wanted go there so much. Mum asked me on May and i told her that i don't wanna follow, i told her, NO MONEY. Haha.. She promised that i only needed to pay for my own flight this trip. That's why..
Arrange all my itinerary is the hardest part afterall. We actually finding cheap flight from all the travel fair and we found there is a tour to Eastern Europe at real bargain price. It cost us around RM5800 per person for it. 8 days, travelling to Czech Rep, Austria, Hungary and Germany. Visit to Fussen, Prague, Salzburg, Innsburk and also Budapest. After the trip, we are going to travel by our own to Bad Ischl, Munich, Stockholm, Oslo, Tromso and Dublin by our own.

London to Paris
Woke up in the early morning, went for hotel breakfast. Today we tend to visit a lot of places in London. I wished to visit wax museum but parents went twice, i dun think they wanted to go again.
British Museum is only nearby. That will our first place to pay out visit. We walked to the museum. Still too early, and quiet on the steet. British museum is where we spend most of our time. It is huge and the most amazing part is free entrance. I bought a introduction book from the souvenier shop for my coursin. Then we had our lunch at China Town. Heading to tower bridge and big ben after lunch. That was a very emo day, nonstop raining.
Basically we never manage to visit London properly. I din even manage to visit buckingham palace for this trip. Spend a lot on cab, but end up with nothing. I treat my parents to a coffee shop nearby. It is not expensive, Starbucks price in Malaysia.
We went to Tesco Express to buy some foods and drinks, then head to Victoria Coach Station.

Outside British Museum

Me @ British Museum

China Town

Buffet Lunch @ 5.50 pounds per person

Coffee session in Costa

Eurolines boarding pass to Paris

Waiting for the coach

Step father with his fren lol

This is how eurolines looks like, quite comfortable =)

LOL! ok this is my first *big bill* =/ By the way, it is much more cheaper than everywhere. I got it from P&O ferry.

Heathlow Airport and London
We reached there around 6am. Took our luggage and went to the custom. The immigration officer ask what is our purpose to be in UK. Checked our detail and asked how long we gonna be there.
Before i left to EU, a lot ppl asked me which country am i going to arrive. When they know it is London, they keep told me that i might be reject to go in to the country. I was kinda worry about that due to i am the 1 that arrange all the itinerary for my parents. If i am not allow to go in, every1 will stucked.
I told her that we will only be in London for 2days 1night. She asked me to show her our ticket leaving from UK, and I showed her the eurolines electronic ticket that i printed out. She stamped our passport, asked me if i visited there b4. I replied her yes, 13years ago. Then she returned our passport and we went in.
Suprisingly i found that they are not checking our luggage at all? Because in Malaysia, when u leaving out, they will have ppl checking for ur belonging there.
I just found that we walked out from the airport and we happened to see the signboard of UNDERGOUND. So i lead my parents there and we bought our ticket to our hotel which is located nearby Russell Square.
London Underground/Tube map *bottom left for london heathlow airport location*
Come out from the Underground, i asked peoples and we reached our hotel, Royal National Hotal in foot steps. Check-ed in, had our breakfast there and we took a cab heading to Victoria which we have to take our shuttle bus to Oxford. We was finding for the station. Seems nobody know the actual location, i walked around finding for it and suddenly somebody trying to stop me. I dun dare to react, due to worried my parents say i simply to to stranger. But my step father stopped him ask if he have something to tell me. He said he saw my hands holding the Oxfordtube paper and point to my step father where is the actual station. Then my step father asked me to stop walking, and said that is the location. I felt so bad... Hereby I say a sorry to u, uncle.
Oxford Tube
We catched up our bus and going to Oxford. A thumb up for the bus service =) i was able to chit chat with my bf due to they are providing wifi service on board wahahha. About 2 hours journey and we reached Oxford. Step father happily holding his chocolate and candies to visit his daughter. Me, mummy and grandmother 3 of us hang out nearby. I visited my first church, in Oxford. Buildings there all amazing. I couldn't believe that i reached in Europe, again after 13years. LOL.
Awhile after when we visiting church, my step father called us and said he done with his stuffs. There we head back to London. We had for our lunch in town, the first proper restaurant i went in Europe for this trip. Every1 seems to be tired, but me. I was really excited and wanted to explore London. Especially by myself. So i told them, I wanted to go out. Mum and grandma said they wanna follow me too, and end up all of them follow me together. I feel very upset due to i felt they jz keep walking on the road, like others. I never get any chances to either go in to a little shop to walk or have a look on their things. Eventually, i blamed them. Why follow me!? And i started to get angry with them.
After reach back together with them in the hotel. I went out alone again. But it is already late, so i never dare to walk too far away.
I never know, step father din't even manage to see his daughter. She just said she dun want to see him anymore. I get to know this only when we was in Italy...If only would i know earlier. I will try my best to cheer him up that day not blaming him i guess. I know that he loved his daughter a lot. Which tend him to go to Europe just to meet her once. Who wished themself to be in a broken family. Nobodies! We as a child sometimes we cant really care what is really happening between our parents. I rather my parents to get divorced, compare with fighting everyday at home. At least, they are both happy with their new family now. My step father is just like a father to me. He does treat me very good all along. Definately, my daddy also. I love all of you. I really hope his daughter will forgive him 1 day. Her actions does hurt him, deeply.. He cried over it, again and again.. Behind us.

Boarding to UK by MAS
I was so nervous and exciting before boarding. We took a cab from house to airport @6pm and reach there bout 7pm+. After get our boarding pass from ticketing counter, we had our dinner at KFC and went in to the duty free shop.
I found they have a L'occitane shop inside duty free area and checked out for some pricing. Din manage to get any due it is originally from France, i thought i might get a cheaper price there. And i was wrong lol.. My parents bought 2 cartons of ciggy and some whiskey then i bought myself a carton of marlboro light too.
The service inflight is very good, a thumb up for the airstewardess! I remembered once i open my eyes and the airstewardess saw then directly pass me some tibits and a drink. But the seat for me is like.. Sucks, so small.. I couldnt sleep well inside there due to the seat. So i choose to watch some movies and keep looking at the GPS to see what is my current location. EU, i am coming..
I took a pic of KLIA b4 i leave.

And a picture of mine, reflect from the windows. Lols..

After boarding, here i am with my cute yeti plushie. Cheese~

This is how MAS aeroplane looks like... (I personally find it coach sometimes does provide a better seat =x )

Foods provided by MAS.
I got my grandma and myself curry chicken rice.

Mum get a vegetarian set.

And steak for step father =)

This is the tibbits they gave once i woke up. So sweet of the airstewardess. =)

Breakfast provided by MAS,
Sausage and omelette,

and Nasi Lemak

Before i start my trip..
I am really really anxious...
1 more day to go and i'll be leaving to Europe..
really looking forward for the trip. =D
Hope everything runs smoothly, safely
Wifi connection on my netbook couldn't function well ytd. Scared me, i was thought if anything goes wrg with my netbook, then i wouldn't able to check my itinerary and all details thru the internet. No point to buy a new netbook then. =/
I couldn't describe how is my feeling when a dreams come true, everything seems so perfect but seems so hard to make it real.
Hard to believe it..
Sitting front of my KL house, smelling the air, strong wind but warms, and looks at the hot sun. Guess i might be missing it much when i oversea. =)*eventhough end up i din xD*
But understanding Europe culture and lifestyle, is my dream all along. I am still young. Since i am able to go out to have a look of the world, i think i should do it now or else after i have my own family and kids, i couldnt make it anymore.
1 month..
Besides Singapore i guess this will the the first time i leave my home for such a long time. And, it's thousands miles away. Luckily that i have my parents and grandma accompany me front part of my trip. heehee.. But it's good too! i can at least visit the rest of the countries myself, and trying to learn to become more independent. I guess, the experience would be excellent. Hope everything run smoothly, and be a memorable trip.
