I am really really anxious...
1 more day to go and i'll be leaving to Europe..
really looking forward for the trip. =D
Hope everything runs smoothly, safely
Wifi connection on my netbook couldn't function well ytd. Scared me, i was thought if anything goes wrg with my netbook, then i wouldn't able to check my itinerary and all details thru the internet. No point to buy a new netbook then. =/
I couldn't describe how is my feeling when a dreams come true, everything seems so perfect but seems so hard to make it real.
Hard to believe it..
Sitting front of my KL house, smelling the air, strong wind but warms, and looks at the hot sun. Guess i might be missing it much when i oversea. =)*eventhough end up i din xD*
But understanding Europe culture and lifestyle, is my dream all along. I am still young. Since i am able to go out to have a look of the world, i think i should do it now or else after i have my own family and kids, i couldnt make it anymore.
1 month..
Besides Singapore i guess this will the the first time i leave my home for such a long time. And, it's thousands miles away. Luckily that i have my parents and grandma accompany me front part of my trip. heehee.. But it's good too! i can at least visit the rest of the countries myself, and trying to learn to become more independent. I guess, the experience would be excellent. Hope everything run smoothly, and be a memorable trip.

Process
I keep on changing my plan.. Since ever parents choose to drop off Barcelona, and go to Zermatt and Venice which was suppose to be the destination i travel alone. I'd changed our itinerery to become London>Oxford>Paris>Zermatt>Milan> Venice>Florence>Pisa>Rome
I always asked them for their opinion due to i really have no idea which type of accomodation they are looking for and how much is their budget. I have really no idea too which type of places they wanna pay their visit to.
I was so blur when my step father came to me and told me that, nvm you arrange everything and we just follow you will do. But in another hands, I picked up my responsibility. Thanks for trusting me. =)
I gave up to buy point to point ticket due to in some of the website i cannot even choose to ask them to mail my ticket to malaysia. TGV was the website i had my problems i guess.
If you search online you will found that they only showed raileurope.com.sg, so I went SG natas fair to get Eurail information. Even if you are buying a point to point ticket, the website do actually helps u a lot to check on ur schedule.
I ended up with bought myself a 15days continuos global pass for myself and a 6/8 days 3 country passes for my parents and my grandma.
You needed to do ur reservation for some train. I directly order from raileurope.com due to they sended me a 10Euro discount voucher on some game i participate b4. Email them ur itinerary and they will do ur arrangement for u. So far their service is very efficient and good. Save u loads of trouble.

Research and Preparation
Things that u have to concern.
Visa
Base on the information i get.
As a Malaysian, we are basically not requirred to apply any visa in advance to pay our visit to any country in Europe.
But Spain, and maybe Slovenia. Czech will needed to pay USD20 to enter the country.
Maybe that was due to Czech and Slovenia havent joined european union at that moment.
But the fact when i was there is. I never face any visa problem entering any country.
Spain was removed from my journey, so i not really sure bout that.
Currency Exchange
Western Union is very expensive. They charge 20% for the service fees. =/
I heard that u get the best rate when u withdraw money directly from the ATM.
You can actually change a bit Forin(Hungary) and Czech Koruna/Crown(Czech)from any provider at other country first to ensure u have money to at least buy urself a drink when u step in those country. 10 Euro will do. Always check rate online. Forin you can actually get cheaper when u go in town. Best dun change at the train station. ~$~
Food
Well, basically is bring chilis sauce if you are a chilis lovers.
That is all i wanna say.
I went to the Mac there asked for something spicy and they answered me, *mustard* =/
Before i went there i was doing my research on their food price. I was so worried that food there will gonna be super expensive and i will have to hunger myself. Actually, not much worry bout that. You can always take Mac as ur first choice. They have such McSaver at 1 to 2 Euro like out country too. Kids meal@4Euro is a very good choices too, at least you can bring back those toy as a souvenier.
Foods in Hungary is quite cheap. You can easily found a chinese restaurant, and cost per meal is only like 400 Forin? which is cheaper than 2 Euro.
Accomodation
Check online for hostel actual location, even if u never plan to book it in advance. Find out how u gonna reach the location. But booking in advance is advised. If only u going there at low season =/
Transport
It is very convinience in Europe to reach everywhere. At least for me, it is.
If you're taking a bus or train, do always look at the board beside you and to see which is the right transport you gonna take. If you dun understand it well, ask ppls around. They usually will help to explain.
Language
This is 1 of the main issue to discuss too yea..
What i did i was at least check online to get some language translator to help me understand some simple words.
Thanks :
French > Merci (it pronauce as cantonese *meh si*)
German > Dankie (just pronauce it directly will do)
Italian> Grazie (just pronauce it directly will do too)
Basically French is harder for us to pronauce it right. But for German and Italian. You can actually direct pronauce it as we reading english.
Clothes
Err, jz bring some basic clothes will do. You can actually found loads cheaper *branded* there with a real reasonable price. I ended up back with a tight luggage, and regretted why i brought so much clothes with me T.T
Weather
This is very hard to predict. Afterall, base on ur luck. =x
Travel Insurance
Contact nearest AIG for latest promotion.
*Preparation*
See if u're able to get a oversea sim card(phone card) b4 you're there to keep ur famalies in touch. Else bring a local numbers, at least to keep ur famalies in touch.
Travellers cheque is very convinience tho, if u do not own a credit card.
MaybanKard Visa works well there too. Remember to call ur service provider to raise ur limit when you're there, and allow the access to swipe card oversea. *make sure u have money inside*
Prebook ur flight, train, and coach ticket. Especially if you're a single female. They need you to prove ur stay is for vacation.
Bring some medicine. I sicked when i was in Prague... Panadol acti fast save me =/
Money belt is very important. But dun like my mum, dropped it on train's wash room. Make sure the money belt is always with you.
If you travel alone. Bring a toy with u. At least when there is nobody help u to take pic, u take for ur toy. =D

Problems...
Well, i faced quite a lot of problems when i was searching for cheaper transport fees when travelling there.
I gotten some info that we can actually get a better deal directly from the specific rail company's website compare with buying a Eurail pass.
You guys can refer to the link below,
-http://www.oebb.at/
Dun miss out coach too, sometimes they do really bring good service and cheap.
-Student Agency from Czech
-Eurolines
The info i received for the Eurail 5 countries pass is the pass will cost me like RM1300+ exclude resevation. And i was really blur that how it works.
I was actually tinking that maybe i can directly there and ask for the cheapest ticket.
But base on all information, travel w/o buying ticket in advance will cost me much more higher.
That is a real bad news for a me as a budget traveller, so i couldnt do that.

Pre sketch
Base on the previous blog.
I can see that i was rushing for my character to lv200 in maplestory when i was doing my preparation to Europe.
I did a sketch for my journey.
Including stuffs that i needed to aware of, pre skecth of my journey, transport from one point to another, and also things to carry.
I'd remember that i keep remind myself to prepare more energy bar.
Energy bar = Energy. That was what i thought. GG lmao..
My pre-sketch of my destination was London>Paris>Barcelona>Rome.
Okay.. =/
I know that is odd.
No idea. I sketched it base on my parents request, since that was their planned and they are arriving at London and depart from Rome.

A dream to discover Europe
Well, when i was 11, my parents always quarrel and end up separate.
My mummy went back to my grandpa's house, stayed around a month.
My dad comes to me, told me that if i am able to ask ur mum to come back, he will bring us all oversea, wherever i like..
I have really no idea how i succeed to get my mum to come back too, lmao.
But, she came back to us.
Disneyland, a fantasy land for kids.
I request my dad to bring me US, to visit Disneyland, but Aww~ he refused me!
They keep persuade me to go with their decision, to visit EUROPE.
*We can visit more countries if we go there* That was wat they told.
My journey to Europe when i was 12 was like:
Eurostar LON to PARIS. *I was sleeping inside train* =/
We went Black Forest in Germany. *The thick snow* was what i remembered.
Amsterdam. Cheese! We went to the Red-Light District too *Haha, that pr0s dam cute* =x
Saw Eiffel Tower in Paris, Lourve Museum, Notre-Dame.
London Bridge, Big Ben, China-Town in UK
Nine balls in Brussels that seems to be atom. A statue of a kid who pee naked.
Definately Switzerland, unforgettable Tobourgen ride*I dunno whether to spells like this* =/
I'd love there so much..
Everything looks so peace..
And after years back from EU, i was once regret.
Regret why i never run away, wahahah~
But luckily i didnt, or else, i wouldn't able to get to know my darling. =)
Anyway, i told myself that i must go back to Europe again when i able!
To complete my dream.
A Dream to Europe.
I was planned to get a Working and Holiday Visa for myself from UK to explore the EU country better. But due to the recession, UK had set their VISA to 5 tiers. Which they cancelled their Working and Holiday VISA to commonwealth country citizen.
So SAD~
I have to change my plan to become backpacking there, but i always think and never really go for it.
Travel alone for a girl is dangerous T.T
There is so much of worries and unknown to a strange country.
Due to H1N1, loadsa airlines had reduce their air tickets to half prices.
*Oh yarhs , my parents end up divorce too. 1 year after back from EU when i was 12.*
My step father wanted to go UK to visit his daughter in Oxford.
And he asked me to helps him eye-ing on air fares to UK.
My mum asked if i wanna follow along.
*Oh yesh!*
And i PAiD for my air-ticket on 25th june.
So, i have to started to plan for our trip.
Due to my parents will only stay in EU for 12days while i extend mine to 28days.
Rest of 16days i will have to travel alone.
Full with excite and worries...
